A concern I have is:
What happens if a moronic player just blows up someones ship for no reason or even in battle, is your ship lost for good? If we are spending real money on ships I don’t want someone else to be able to indiscriminately wipe my balance to zero!
Will there be insurance or any protection mechanisms for this?
I don’t have it in writing but this is what I think I remember Swagner saying about it.
In the first zone you will just respawn somewhere after death. In the second zone you will respawn but you will be forced to repair your ship before going out again. In deep space you can lose your ship. That is just one of the many reasons why we are creating a large top level guild.
